Oud Sharqia is a rich, unisex oriental perfume oil. It typically features a warm opening of Oudh (agarwood), dry fruits, and incense. The scent then develops into a floral-leathery heart and dries down into a deep, woody base of musk and sandalwood.
In perfumery, notes are the different layers of scents that make up a fragrance. They are broken down into three stages:
Top Notes: The first scents you smell right after applying the oil. For Oud Sharqia, these are bold and include Oudh, sandalwood, sweet dried fruits, and smoky incense.
Middle (Heart) Notes: These scents appear after the top notes fade. They include gentle florals like rose and jasmine, mixed with hints of leather and vanilla.
Base Notes: The final, long-lasting scents that stay on your skin all day. They provide depth and feature heavy, warm notes of musk, amber, and traditional woody Oudh.
